Here is some of the learning that went on in Poppy Class during the Autumn Term. The 'Come fly with me' theme was all about the Arctic Circle. The children learnt more about the world's Continents and Oceans and that the Arctic Circle is in the North Pole. They learnt about Inuit people, traditions and what animals live there. Poppy Class also enjoyed celebrating Children in Need Day, where we wore our pyjamas and World Culture Day, where we learnt about Congolese people and wore African colours. Christmas time was great fun in school. We were able to have a party, create Christmas cards and enjoyed watching a live pantomime online.
